Leading change on the implementation of the Welsh language standards

Aim

This training sessions aims to provide information on the methods available to managers as they work strategically towards implementing the Welsh language standards.  

This course is suitable for:

Managers and strategic leaders who are responsible for working towards implementing the Welsh language standards within their organisation.

(The training will be delivered bilingually.)

Content:

This workshop discusses:

•            Holistic model of increasing language use            
•            Leading the process - gap analysis / action plan / engagement / awareness  
•            Managing change / leadership skills / emotional intelligence

Trainer:

Clare Grist has worked with IAITH as a consultant over the last 11 years. She worked in the education and training sector in her previous post with local authorities and in her independent role dealing with language awareness, management and leadership. In addition to this, she is presently working as a Senior Bilingualism Officer in a national organisation.
