At the end of September 2015 the Welsh Language Commissioner gave notice to 26 organizations of the new Welsh Language Standards they are required to operate, and indicating what they will be what they expected to do and deliver in Welsh in accordance with The Welsh Language Measure (Wales) 2011.
The area of Recruitment and related matters is a key area for enabling all organisations to respond effectively to the challenge of the new Standards.
This training is intended for HR / Personnel managers and staff, and other managers and staff involved in aspects of the Recruitment Process and staff development.

Session to be conducted through the medium of English.
It will be delivered by means of PowerPoint presentation, group exercises and opportunities for discussion.
Dr Steve Eaves is Director of Corporate Language Planning for IAITH: the Welsh Centre for language planning. He has worked in the field of language Policy and language Services for the past 35 years. Steve joined IAITH’s Senior Consultants’ team 14 years ago following a career in local government language planning. He specializes in advising and assisting public bodies on implementing bilingualism. Steve also delivers training on a wide range of associated subject areas including language awareness, recruitment and language skills strategies, and developments in language legislation and policy. email@example.com
