Brexit and Our Land

Medrus Conference Centre, Aberystwyth University
10:30 am - 13:00 pm, 11 October 2018

The changes proposed to food production subsides by Welsh Government following Brexit appears to pose substantial risks to the vitality of the Welsh language in its rural heartlands.

This Welsh-medium seminar is an opportunity for language planners and representatives of Welsh-medium cultural organisations to learn more about the consultation paper ‘Brexit and Our Land’ and consider the implications to our Welsh-speaking rural communities. It will also be an opportunity for individual organisations and Language Planners Wales to start formulating their responses to the public consultation that closes on 30th October 2018.
