Customer Care and the Welsh Language

The Aim of the work is to provide staff with the confidence and skills to use Welsh with members of the public. 

Learning Outcomes

There will be an opportunity to discuss:

  • When do you use Welsh and how does it make you feel
  • Why do we meet and greet bilingually? – understanding language choice
  • Creating bilingual environments
  • Responding to customers’ requests - (role play)

Everyone who attends will receive a Customer Care and the Welsh Language Guide where personal notes can be added. This resource can then be printed and laminated for use upon return to the workplace.
