New Speakers

Dr Kathryn Jones, IAITH’s research and policy lead, will contributing to an International conference at Hamburg University on 13 May.
The conference is organised by the European research network in relation to ‘New Speakers’ – COST. Kathryn will contribute to a paper entitled ‘Language policy, learning and citizenship in times of superdiversity: creating spaces for new speakers’ along with Gwenan Higham of Cardiff University and Steve Morris of Swansea University. One of IAITH’s sponsors, Prof. Colin H Williams, currently at Cambridge University, will also be contributing to the same session.
