Chairing Bilingually and Hosting Bilingual Events

A practical training workshop designed to provide guidance on chairing meetings and / or hosting events bilingually.

The workshop will be an opportunity discuss:

• Why offer a bilingual service when hosting events and chairing meetings?
• How to approach delivering meetings and events bilingually?
• What are the obstacles and challenges?

During the workshop, we will:

• reflect on language practices that are inclusive
• consider how we can conform to the Welsh Language Standards
• identify good practice guidance
• develop relevant vocabulary and phrases
• discuss case study examples and practice through role play.

This workshop will be facilitated bilingually.
