Dr Steve Eaves gains Welsh cap

IAITH are very honoured to congratulate one of our senior consultants, Steve Eaves, on gaining a PhD degree from Cardiff University. Steve presented a doctoral thesis on the role of Language Awareness Training (LAT) within language policy and planning activities in Wales.
This is the first major piece of academic research on LAT in Wales. IAITH have played a leading and pioneering role in developing LAT over the past twenty years and are delighted that a senior member of staff and regular LAT practitioner was the first to grapple with the subject.

The award by Cardiff University comes soon after Steve being granted an honorary doctorate from the Open University in 2014. Many congratulations to Steve on his notable ‘double’.
