On the 14th of May the IAITH+ project was busy at work in Fitzalan High School, Cardiff.

IAITH+ project was busy at work in Fitzalan High School, Cardiff.

The aim of the IAITH+ project is to provide an opportunity for students to take part in a series of workshops to promote the benefits of bilingualism. The training includes language awareness training, training the trainer and how to create bilingual designs. The project is run in partnership by IAITH: the welsh centre for language planning and Urdd Gobaith Cymru.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with eight year 9 students having a lively and productive discussion.

A big thank you to the students for their enthusiastic participation. We look forward to seeing their workshops with some year 7s in a few months’ time.
