Llechi, Glo a Chefn Gwlad was a three year programme that worked with nine partners across Wales. The partners were: Tir Dewi, DOVE, Tir Coed, Credu Carers, Partneriaeth Ogwen, Cwmni Bro Ffestiniog, Siop Griffiths, Ynysybwl Regeneration Partnership, and People and Work: Cenhedlaeth Rhondda. The programme focused on:
- work that developed and/or supported the foundational and very local economy; and
- testing a community leadership approach which involved partners employing a member of their community for 12 months to build community activity whilst also developing their own skills and experience – 27 community leaders were employed.
IAITH collaborated with the Llechi, Glo a Chefn Gwlad partners to recognise and appreciate the learning achieved as well as the project’s wider impact.

On 5th July 2023 a seminar sponsored by Heledd Fychan MP will be held at Cardiff Bay's Pierhead Building to share information about the project. A 'What three things' document has been produced by the Llechi, Glo a Chefn Gwlad partners outlining the three things that the public sector - Welsh Government, Local Authorities, Health Authorities and Organisations and community charities can do to support community-owned enterprises to preserve and multiply income and wealth locally.
